Flurries

Since moving to Maryland, we haven't seen a really great snow storm.
Today we got it - Park City would be proud of the powder.
Great accumulation but not so good for snow men or snow balls.
Lizzy doesn't own snow pants, so I made some. Like? We purchased a brand new snow shovel and put it to work.

We followed up our snow day with Grasshoppers and hot cocoa.
Settle to the kitchen table with hot cocoa and a package of Keebler grasshopper cookies.
Nibble off one end of your cookie, turn it around, nibble off the opposite side.
Suck in some cocoa through the cookie.
Before it turns to mush, put the cookie in your mouth and it will disintegrate on your tongue.
Our second date was ice skating. When everybody else finished the date and went home, Clinton came over to my place and we ate grasshoppers and hot cocoa and talked long.
I have only had church canceled on account of snow a couple times in my life. Maryland isn't equipped like Logan, UT for snow, so we've got a family day tomorrow. Shame, I was going to substitute for our Sunday School class. I am sorry, however, to miss the choir's Christmas music. It's something I always enjoy.

I hope for your choir's sake that they get to perform next week. That's a lot of work to put into something that nobody gets to hear! Hope you enjoy your white Christmas this year!!
