Ed

At girls camp when I was a teenager I made a beaded lizard.
On my way to college, I grabbed the lizard just as I left home.
I developed a habit of leaving Ed up until the end in every move, and hanging him up as I arrived at my new place.
One summer when I bounced between Dugway, Logan, West Point, and Sandy, Ed hung from my rearview mirror.
Here he is, once again in my car. Here he will hang until we buy our first home.

30 miles to Dayton.
