Michelle and Jeff Visit

We are well practiced now to have you come visit us. My good friend Michelle, who was a roommate for two years in Logan, brought her new husband to visit us in October. Jeff and Michelle got tours at the library of congress, the supreme court, and the capitol building. Lizzy and I joined for the supreme court and library of congress, and Clinton joined us all to see the Capitol. Each event was incredible.
We got to sit in the courtroom where the supreme court hears cases.
I think the library of congress is completely overlooked; the building is a marvel of art and architecture - beyond my capacity to describe in this post.
The capitol building was also really exceptional. We got to sit in the balcony of the large hall where the house of representatives debates and votes.
Additionally, we toured the bureau of engraving and printing, saw the Jefferson Memorial, the the White House, the Washington Memorial, Arlington Cemetary, the FDR monument, the National Archives, and Mount Vernon. We also went to the Washington DC temple together.

Michelle and Jeff saw a few other sites as well, after we wilted and went home. They also took us out to dinner in Annapolis and joined us for church. We had a very fun adventure.
After having Aleigh in September and Michelle and Jeff in October, we are looking forward to the next visitors to come. We openly invite all our friends and family to plan a trip to DC and stay with us.
