Why is this the standard interface for mobile power?This "design" is based on a decades-old interface for lighting up.
With all the smart ideas out there, can somebody please develop a new universal 12-volt power socket for the automobile?
We got smart enough to start putting these things in our trunks, and we now install multiples by the driver and we put them near the back seats to power our DVD players, emergency air compressors, and our other toys. Why didn't we think of making them little?
