Patch

Lizzy's favorite movies the last month have featured dalmatians and Pluto. She has been a puppy a whole lot. She's also possibly going through a growth spurt because she's been off balance and clumsy. Lizzy the puppy scampered headlong into a toddler-level table and got a goose egg over her left eye. In the morning she resembled Patch, from 101 Dalmatians, the puppy with a spot covering his eye.
Since that, she has run into a wall, adding a bruise on top of this bruise. Then she added another bump to the center of her forehead. When she starts yipping and barking, I don't call her puppy Lizzy any more; she's Patch the Puppy.

She loves it. Well, maybe not the black eye. or the 4-inch scrape up her leg. But she loves having a puppy name. I wonder what tomorrow will bring.
