Have I mentioned lately how much I like visitors?

The #1 coolest thing about being in D.C. is that we are a vacation destination, and we make great vacations possible for people who would not be able to do it otherwise. Mostly family. Like my brother, David, and his wife, Hollie.
We provide beds and bath, free shuttle to the nearest metro, daily tour guide, sack lunches, breakfast and dinner, wheels when you need them, and concierge services. Additionally, we can run errands and facilitate special excursions.

Like Pennsylvania. David and Hollie really wanted to see Gettysburg, and so did we.
On this trip, they provided us a night in Gettysburg so we could spend two days at the battlefield.
We had so much fun spending time together. They had a pretty good itinerary for a week's visit and kept up a pretty good pace, considering Hollie and I are both due in the spring. We stayed up late talking, and altogether enjoyed their company.
