Some 336 photos highlight some of the artifacts and monuments that we saw in Gettysburg. I won't post them all.
Grandpa Reeder and Clinton captained the van with Emma and Tommy. I jumped from one vehicle to the other. Lizzy was the constant copilot in Grandpa Tec's Jeep.

We listened to an audio tour on CD as we drove through the battlefield.

Of course, no trip to a Civil War Battlefield could be quite complete without hanging on the cannons, right?

The girls were very good, and of course Tommy was an Angel. (sometimes a hungry angel; but an angel nonetheless.)

If you watch the movies or read much about the battle, you'll know Little Roundtop, where we got out for the longest of our leg stretches.

We enjoyed the trip and the history. Grandpa Reeder found a duplicate in the museum to his Great Grandpa's Colt Revolver that he used as a cavalry volunteer in the Civil War, though he did not participate in this particular battle.

We enjoyed the visit very much. We parted ways in Pennsylvania, with Grandpa Tec and Linda heading West. We took Grandpa Reeder for a visit to the genealogical society in Hagerstown before taking him to the airport.
