Summer

I didn't blog all summer. Here's an idea of what we've been doing.

Swimming. We nearly wore out our swimming suits between memorial day and labor day.

Lizzy's lessons over the winter have certainly paid off. She knows enough to stay out of trouble, so I can take care of Emma and Tommy.

I made jam for the first time ever. Strawberry jam, strawberry freezer jam, and raspberry jam. We picked our own berries at a farm. I feel very domestic.

Lizzy turned 5. She requested chocolate cupcakes.

For her birthday, our family sent some fun presents. Lizzy's parents got family season passes to Six Flags for Lizzy's birthday, and we used them frequently. We live about 15 minutes from the park.

They're cute, right?

We stained the deck on our house. I'm grateful our landlord lets us bid on some of the maintenance for rent credit.

We visited some friends for a barbecue and a trip to their lake

We went with lots of our friends.

And those are the highlights of what I was doing when I wasn't blogging.
