Aleigh says she won't take international visitors on the Freedom trail anymore. It seems that people from Canada and Europe don't get our fascination with graveyards and the treasonous rebels of our revolution. In truth, there are several burial grounds along the freedom trail, and having been raised to know the names on these tombstones, I was delighted to visit and pay my respects.

Old South Meetinghouse, where the Boston Tea Party was planned, along with several other criminal and disrespectful goings on. I love the Character of Boston, with it's glass and steel skyscrapers sharing skyline with colonial buildings.

Clinton and Aleigh are a little unnerving from time to time. I said I'd like them to be in a picture and they both did this pose. Unplanned. Old North church in the background, where Paul Revere signaled the mode of travel the British Regulars would take when marching on Lexington and Concord.

Self Portrait.

Aleigh rather enjoyed the expression on Lizzy's face when she wanted Jelly Beans. This is directly after our 279 step ascension into the tower on Breed's Hill. We had jelly legs.

I dearly love Boston and all the graveyards and the rebels and the ghosts and the Italian quarter and the skyscrapers next to 300 year old churches. It's such an awesome city. I'm so glad you got to go and it looks like the weather even cooperated for you!
