Yesterday, though, I broke the rules and put on the tunes. I started moving furniture and making way for a tree. Won't that be great?I'm feeling the season a lot more than a year ago.
Lizzy helped me wrap some presents yesterday.
Clint's sister is definitely coming for Thanksgiving, and we're gathering with some other friends, which will be lots of fun.
We're trying to convince my Dad to drive out for Christmas from St. Louis since the gas prices have nose-dived.
And best of all, my Clinton is home and not going to spend the Holidays in Iowa, Florida, New Hampshire, or any other key swing state. He's going to be here dancing with Lizzy, singing Christmas music, and being my happy holiday husband.
We're going to Utah to see family in early December.
And the only Friday I'm "working" between now and January will be traveling home from a business trip. My hoarded vacation days are giving me 3-day weekends and holiday weekends for the next 5.
Altogether, I'd have to say I'm looking forward to a great holiday season, and I say bring on the Jingle Bells.

Mindy I feel exactly like you do! Last year I had a bit of the bah-humbug blues for misc reasons, but this year I just feel that Christmas spirit in an overwhelmingly joyful way! I'm glad you have so many exciting plans and get to share time with your family. What a treat. =)
Yay for Jingle Bells... I'm ready, too.
I'm baaaack!
I just want to let you know I now have a kidz button for my special needs children site and I'm asking all my friends and fam to add it to their sidebars to help me let people know about it. Head over to my blog to find out how to add it. Yeah, I'm shameless for sure! Love ya!
