In our church, much like a christening, infants are given a name and a blessing. We scheduled this for Emma to coincide with Clinton's parents' visit, and invited my dad and his wife to come as well.I neglected to get a photo of Emma with her Daddy, who blessed her, and her two Grandfathers who joined in the blessing circle along with our Bishop and one of his counselors. I did get a photo of my two girls together, though.
Clinton's parents arrived on Wednesday. Clinton's sister, Aleigh, arrived Friday. My dad and Linda met us at church on Sunday. Aleigh and Clinton's dad left on Sunday and Clinton's mom flew to New York Monday Morning. Dad and Linda stayed until Wednesday.
We had a whole lot of fun and enjoyed our company.
If you can spot Clinton and Lizzy, standing closer are Grandma, Grandpa, and Clinton's sister, Aleigh. They were watching the two Lionesses.

We took Dad and Linda to the Smithsonian Air and Space annex. This is not the collection located downtown; but a humungous cavernous building in Virginia that houses the Enterprise space shuttle, an SR-71, and a bunch of other cool things. I'd try to enumerate; but I'll misspell and display my ignorance of their historical significance.
I didn't get as many photos as I wanted; but here are a few that I liked. The last day, Dad and Linda wanted to go to a park with Lizzy, feeling she would enjoy this and have better memories than another museum. After a week of visitors and daily excursions to the historical sites, she was starting to act out.
All in all we had a delightful time. I won't give a play-by-play... but I wanted to post some of the nice pictures.

What a darling picture of Emma smiling so big in her blessing dress. Lizzy seemed preoccupied with her thoughts. But still cute too. You guys are such sight-seers. Good for you.
