Happy Birthday Mike

My brother was born in 1979. That makes him 30 today.
I hope your decade is a good one.
These were taken last week. Here is Michael with our niece. He spends a lot of effort vying for favorite uncle status.Mike likes a good joke. Here he is with my mom.
Mike is married to Colette. He married well. He met Emma while we were in Utah.
Mike likes to build things. The guys made a fabulous sand castle on the beach at Bear Lake. He also builds real things; his most recent project is his new deck.
How many people set up Christmas lights outside their trailer on a 4-night camping trip in August? Mike does. He also brings shade umbrellas to an off-road jeeping excursion, his deck chairs instead of traditional folding camp chairs, and other odds and ends for comfort, decoration, and just plain fun... wherever he is.
Mike enjoys time with his brothers. Here is James, on break from the Air Force.
And that's Mike. We were pretty close as little kids; he was my best playmate. I also found him to be tough competition and quite the rival growing up, though he was never trying to compete. He's a good brother and a good man. Happy 30th, Mike.
