After hearing much, we finally attended the Maryland Rennaisance Festival this Fall. Costumes aren't required; but my mother was eager to supply us, and it was definitely fun to go in character.

| Among my mother's hobbies is the Rennaisance Faire. She's been going faithfully for several years to the Ren Faire in Utah. Mom has a talent for costuming and has put that skill to good use outfitting all interested parties in medieval imitations. |

We will go again this fall, and probably make a habit of visiting annually. When life takes us someplace else, I'm sure we'll participate in any local renaissance fair or festival.
