A New Year

Internet... FINALLY!

We spent the holidays with family. Christmas Eve with the Reeders at Shawnya's home. It was so much fun to be there with everyone... well, Jamison was in Hawaii guarding the Obama family and Ari was lonely in lock-down, unable to move about her neighborhood for the security of the Prez... but everybody else was together.

We had Christmas morning with Aliegh and Clinton's parents. We were so happy that Santa found us. [Thanks, Sarah.]
Making cookies with cousins. There must have been more than 200 cookies. That's how we roll.
We enjoyed Christmas Dinner at my mom's home with all the Utah families, which kicked off the annual Techmeyer 2-day reunion. We played games, ate good food, exchanged nice gifts, and thoroughly enjoyed being there in the action. These are the things we missed most in Maryland.

The girls also enjoyed the annual sugar cookie party, held after Christmas this year. Our cousins have developed quite a bit in the cookie skills in our absence. We had a lot of fun.

We went from cookies directly into our new all-consuming passion: finding a house.
Clinton and Tommy investigating the shower in one of our prospects
Utah Fred helped Carrie and Hector Pereyra find their perfect home. He and I have spent some time solo. Clinton has joined us in the hunt as well. We have seen a lot that we like, and even more that don't quite do it for us. We made an offer on one house yesterday.
Cross your fingers for us.
Standing? When did that happen?
We miss our friends terrible fierce. We are happy with our choice, though. Clinton is enjoying his job and he likes the folks he is working with. He feels like this is a company he can spend some years with.
