Rennaisance Festival and Fantasy Faire

A couple weekends ago we spent a day at the Renaissance Faire. Mom is a brilliant and accomplished amateur costumer. She loves the Ren fair and we met her there along with 2 cousins. While there are some distinct differences between the Utah Ren Fair, now in its 7th? year, and the Maryland fair that is beyond 30 years, we certainly enjoyed ourselves.

Tommy's hat looked fabulous on his head; but alas! no pictures of that. Just sticking it in his mouth.
Just as Mom was leaving with Z and G, our Pereyra friends showed up. Mom outfitted them completely from the trunk of her car. We hung out and caught some Jousting and more Renaissance fun together.

A different weekend, just this Saturday, Mom went with my brothers and their wives. Two of my brothers do leatherwork. David made a sword... not shown. He chose a different blade for this weekend. James is working on chain mail. I don't know which pieces are mom and which are the brothers and which were purchased, but you see the folks we enjoy spending time with.
