New Saturday activity

We have spent most of out Saturdays the last 7 months shopping for a house.
Today we went shopping for the house.
We didn't buy anything, but we spent several hours at Ikea talking out design ideas.
Then we went to Home Depot.
We need a babysitter for a full day up and down the aisles at Home Depot.
We looked at lawnmowers, shovels, rakes, electrical, lighting, sinks, vanities, fridges, washers, dryers, cook tops, stoves, and sheetrock. We only walked by ladders and carpet.
We didn't even glance at doors, paint, plants.
We probably won't need all of that; but appliances are suddenly interesting.
The house has neglected landscaping and an unfinished basement, among other opportunities.
We'll post photos a little later.

How exciting! I long for the day when I fret over a weed trimmer.

Oh, fraptious day!! Time at home depot is daydreaming time for us, too. Hope things go well with this offer!! Crossing fingers, toes, and eyes for you.

So...if you're in the market for appliances, check out craigslist. You can frequently find appliances 3-5 years old, in good condition, in a matching set, when people remodel their kitchens. Same goes for Ikea furniture, and the unique names make searching real easy...
