We drove through Pennsylvania, past Seneca Lake, and on to Palmyra to visit Clinton's Aunt Pat.
During the drive home we encountered a few more of the finger lakes.

I'd heard of finger lakes, but look at a map of New York State and look at all those long skinny North-South lakes. Seneca is something like 35 miles long, and skinny.

We stopped at the Hill Cumorah and left the camera in the car. Clinton took some pictures with his phone, but I don't have those in my picture library right now, so you can't see.
We also stopped by the print shop in Palmyra where the Book of Mormon was published. They have 2 first editions that we were able to see. We got to check out the press. I got to fold a 16-page sheet and we saw how they sew and bind books in a cutting-edge frontier bindery in 1829.

We were out of bed by 5:00 and on the road by 6:00. We got lunch just south of Palmyra. The girls slept for half of the drive and we were cool and comfortable without air conditioning for most of the drive.
No to spoil the ending, but the drive home - started at 11:00 and ending at about dusk - involved 3 stops at gas stations because we were hot and thirsty, not so much because we were running low on petrol.
