We had some friends meet us at the park for a play group birthday party. We brought balloons and cupcakes, and the kids alternated between enjoying the park and cooling off in the shade of the hot day at the park.
We've been pretty busy so far this summer. Yesterday we enjoyed a backyard swimming playgroup. It was a welcome relief from the heat.
I even got a little wet, and so did my friend, Becky. I'd like to say she started it; but that might not be entirely true.
