In our SLC ward we had some friends, Jordan and Becky Sheffer (you West Point and Syracuse folks know the Sheffers and know whether I spelled their last name right.) Jordan went to check out grad school in the south… Georgia or Alabama or someplace. They came home saying that they knew that they had found their very last pick of schools. Then one weekend, they drove out to Laramie Wyoming to check out a school here and said they had found a new last pick.

We are grateful Laramie is here and that they have 4 hotels at exit 310, because we found that there were no vacancies at the first two we tried and are grateful to be gearing up from the safety and shelter of the Econo Lodge here on the wide-open plains of Big Sky Country. Attached is a shot of our rig in the parking lot this morning when we got up. Today is May 6, friends.
